'guardians Of The Galaxy' Headed To $300 Million At U.s. Box Off

With four months left in the year, if 2014 plays out about even with the last two years, then we should see a final domestic tally thats down by between $200-300 million, or around perhaps a 2-3% decline from last years box office. Notice, that number looks much less severe than the 25% figure for the summer, but then again that would also assume the next several months compare positively to the same period in 2013 and 2012. Thats not remotely a safe bet, of course, in light of both of those years enjoying some especially nice box office performances from end-of-year fare. However, 2014 does have some heavy-hitters capable of helping pull it off, most notably The Equalizer , Annabelle , Interstellar , Big Hero 6 , The their website Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 , Penguins of Madagascar , Exodus: Gods and Kings , The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies , Annie , Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb , and Into the Woods . There are also several smaller but still potentially strong players in the form of Left Behind , Fury , Dumb and Dumber To , Horrible Bosses 2 , and American Sniper . So if the final four months end up down from the average, it shouldnt be by too terribly much, Id imagine. And its worth noting that there is at least some hope all of these films perform strong enough to actually pass 2013 and 2012 enough to pull even with last years cumulative year-end domestic box office total. That could be a long shot, but its certainly within the real of visit this page possibility and doesnt even look too improbable. <br>Source:
